About

Dan Millman’s Way of the Peaceful Warrior and The Life You Were Meant To Live have both been with me for many years now. I come back to them again and again when I need a refresh of the Spirit of realism that can be found there.

I would not say this was the beginning of my exploration, rather it crept in on the way after discovering Lyall Watson’s Neophilia and my fascination with all things Supernatural. To tell you the truth, I don’t remember how I came to have The Life You Were Born to Live. I think maybe it was a gift from the fairies — sometimes they like to pop things into my world for me to play with.

However I came to it, the numerology of twenty-eight | ten has fallen into step like a cycle of awareness in the pool of unknowing that ripples out and back again over and over. It comes to me and I to it.

And like all games I choose to play, I am able to practice without owing myself to it, without attachment to the truth of it or attaching to the story held therein. It merely attracts me into its gaze where we meet one another for a time and then let it go, like strangers in the night.
